We are a completely volunteer-based organization, who believes no one should have to go hungry and no food should be wasted. We are always looking for more amazing people to join the Save the Food team.

WHO WE NEED:

  • Pick-Up Volunteers - Picks up products from businesses & drops them off at the designated cooler.
    • Must have medium to large vehicle
    • Reliable transportation
    • Able to lift and move heavy boxes
  • Giveaway Volunteers - Picks up products from cooler & delivers them to designated community/organization.
    • Must have medium to large vehicle
    • Reliable transportation
    • Able to lift and move heavy boxes
    • Being a people person is helpful
    • Bilingual Spanish-English speaking is a plus
  • Stand-by's - Not able or ready to commit to a schedule, fill in when you're able.
    • Pick-ups
    • Give-Aways
  • Tech-People - Not able to drive/lift heavy things? -There are other ways to help
    • Blog Writers
    • Content Creators
    • SEO Managers
    • PR Reps
  • SERVICE AREA NEEDS - As homelessness and struggling residents is one a rise,, we do have a higher concentration of needs in:
    • East Austin
    • North Austin
    • South Austin
